MEET OUR STAFF

Angie brings over 10 years’ experience caring for seniors as a nurse and Administrator for assisted living and memory care.

She grew up in Decatur, Alabama and attended Wallace State. During her free time, she loves being outdoors, going to the beach, and spending time with family.

Angie says “I love working at the cottages because it feels like home.  Caring for the elderly is my passion and I love hearing about their life experiences.  The most rewarding part of working at the cottages is the difference I can make in their lives.”

Sarah, originally from Fairhope, Alabama, comes to the Cottage with a background of caring for seniors in private homes as well as communities for adults and children with developmental disabilities. Sarah has always had a passion for seniors and graduated from the University of South Alabama with a degree in therapeutic recreation with a focus on geriatric studies. “I love working at the Cottage because of the opportunity it gives me to be a part of a team that makes a positive impact in the lives of our residents”.

Sarah enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Joseph, and their dog Pooter.

Selena is from Russellville, Alabama and first joined the Cottages in 1998 as the Resident Services Director for our Country Cottage in Russellville. Since that time she has been a member of the Cottage team in various positions, including Managing Director for several of our locations. Selena has been a nurse for 25 years, and has enjoyed 22 years caring for the elderly.

“The reason I love caring for the elderly is because of my many wonderful grandparents who played such an important role in my life,” says Selena.
