Unique activities are available in each Cottage community and are scheduled by our staff based on the interests of our residents. Calendars are carefully planned to ensure that residents and their families have an opportunity to participate in a variety of activities that support their mind, body, and spirit. Residents have numerous opportunities that support an active and healthy lifestyle.

Regina Lawler has worked at Country Cottage since the first day the doors opened. She began as a Homemaker before being quickly promoted to Coordinator and now Managing Director. Regina feels she has found her “place in life” and says “I will be here long after I’m old enough to be one of the residents. I love my residents as if they were my own family.” Regina has her Assisted Living Administrator’s License and Assisted Living Federation Association’s National Lifetime Administrative Certificate.
Regina grew up in the Mount Hebron Community and attends North Russellville Baptist Church. She has been married to Perry Lawler for over 40 years and has one son. In her spare time, she enjoys walking and cross-stitching.
Kimberly, originally from Haleyville, has over 10 years of experience providing hands on care for seniors. Having worked at the Russellville Cottage for many years before being promoted to the Resident Service Director position, Kimberly has intimate knowledge of our community and all the amazing residents that live here.
Kimberly has a passion for caregiving and says “The residents make my day. We have a caring, wonderful staff, and we get so much joy caring for the residents”. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and taking care of her two little girls.
Selena is from Russellville, Alabama and first joined the Cottages in 1998 as the Resident Services Director for our Country Cottage in Russellville. Since that time she has been a member of the Cottage team in various positions, including Managing Director for several of our locations. Selena has been a nurse for 25 years, and has enjoyed 22 years caring for the elderly.
“The reason I love caring for the elderly is because of my many wonderful grandparents who played such an important role in my life,” says Selena.
